You're The Best CAT Dad Ever! | Digi Stamp Boutique

Here I am with my second card for this week for Father's Day, for the Best Cat DAD Ever!
This trio of kitties is so adorable, in my eyes I see them resting, relaxing & repeat!

I used a great digital stamp set from Digi Stamp Boutique, Cute kitty set 2 and colored them in with Copic markers. I first die cut my background panel using the MFT Die-namics Stitched Triple Peek-A-Boo Window & Edge die and adhered it onto a piece of Woodgrain DSP.

The sentiment was heat embossed on some black card stock. The kitties were then raised up with pop dots and the panel was mounted onto a white #110 side folding card base.

To a Dad who can fix Anything | Digi Stamp Boutique

To begin my card today I started of with a digital stamp image from Digi Stamp Boutique, DIY Cat and coloured him in with Copic Markers. I then used my cutting machine to cut him out.

For my background, I stamped the tool images from the Hero Arts Happy Dads Day Set around the panel. At the same time I also added the sentiment with crisp black and added clear embossing powder for a raised effect. I die cut the panel with a dashed edging and attached the DIY Cat with a action wobbler.

To Finish off my card  today I attached it onto a white #110 side folding card base. This is the first of just a few more Father's Day cards to be showcased this week.

You and Coffee | Simon Says Stamp | My Favorite Things

This was a fun card to make with a lots of masking involved, I got my inspiration from Therese Calvird and her card on the Highlighted Stamping technique!

Therese Calvird
I didn't know she had a video and I based my card from inspiration of the repetition of her cats and thought coffee cups would look neat. I started with the foreground and worked myself up. I messed up once and had to start over on this card but that is how you learn. Every cup is stamp three times to get just the right amount of ink coverage. Our cute little cat is from My Favorite Things - I Knead You set, I left a fair amount of room for him to roll around amongst the cups. It took a bit to fit him in there just perfectly.

I coloured the cat with Copic markers and stamped a sentiment in Versamark ink and heat set it with White embossing powder on black card stock. The panel is then mounted onto 1/8" foam and adhered onto a #100 side fold Fog card base.

It's Your Day | Lawn Fawn

This was more of a detailed card with it being interactive as the little boy moves from left to right, with getting the die placement just perfect on the Lawn Fawn Road Borders Die. In this card I used lots of coloured card stock to create the background to build my scene.

The little boy on his bicycle and his kitty were all coloured with Copic Markers. Spectrum Glitter Sparkle was added to the flower bouquet and Glossy Accents was added to the bicycle. The sentiment is stamp in Versamark Onxy Black Ink and Lawn Fawn Fish Tank. The panel is then adhered to a #110 White top folding card base.

Mother's Day Bike Ride | Lawn Fawn

I got to play with a few really great Lawn Fawn dies for this Mother's Day Card. I love how they coordinate together, and everything just flows nicely when you have all the tools to work with. I used a lot of card stock for this card as I had recently saved since December and had many items on a wish list building up it was time for a haul.

I stamped out my images first on Neenah 80Lbs card stock using Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink and colored them with Copics. I then started to create my background, I die cut the sky from Simon Says Stamp Audrey Blue and the grass from Simon Says Stamp Green Leaf card stock, then I cut the fence from White card stock. I inlayed the path into the grass and die cut it out with Slate card stock and the inside markings with Sunshine card stock.

The sentiment is stamped with Versamark Onyx Black ink, the panel is then attached to a White #110Lbs card base and Spectrum Noir Sparkle is added to the balloons, flowers and the little girls dress. Glossy Accents are added to the balloons for an added detail. The stamped images were raised with foam top for dimension.

Mother's Day Kitty Wreath Card | IsabelCristina Stamps | WPlus9

Here is my attempt at the Gink K. Wreath Builder, I got my idea for the background panel from one of Jennifer McGuire's videos called Wreath Builder Stamping and thought I would give it a try. I don't have many tiny flower stamp sets but I made this one work for me and since I was just having fun playing making a wreath I now know what I would do differently next time.

The kitty image is by IsabelCristina Stamps her illustrations are so adorable. I printed the kitty image on Neenah paper and colored it in with Copics and popped it up with foam tape. I adhered the background panel to Simon Says Stamp Lavender Card Stock and cut a strip for the sentiment.

I added a bit of gold sparkle paper detail, on the strip of lavender. And stamped the sentiment with Versamark and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Assembled the rest of the card together adding foam tape where it needed to be raised.

Wishing you a beautiful Mother's Day | Lawn Fawn

A beautiful ink blended card using the Lawn Fawn Hillside Backdrop Portrait Stitched Die on Bristol paper. I created the shadowed layers using Distress Oxide Inks by masking them off with some post-it tape in between the layers. I distressed the panel with some sprinkles of water and set the panel a side to dry while I went and stamped the images.

The images are stamped with Copic friendly ink, Simon Says Intense Black Ink and cut out. I then cut out a few extra die cut images to fill in the scene, a sunshine and a couple of clouds. I then used foam tape on the edge of the frame and started assembling the panel onto a #110lbs white card base. This gives the card just a bit of added detail and dimension when your looking at it.

I stamped the sentiment with crisp black ink and inlayed the center portion of the frame,  sky and sun. I started adhering the stamped images with glue and stamped a few hearts just above the kittens head. Spectrum Noir glitter sparkle was added to the little girls dress and the bunches of flowers. That finishes are card for today...

You're a Furever Friend | My Favorite Things

I love this buffy colored kitty, this would be a great friendship card or a pet adoption. It is bright and cheerful yet clean and simple.

I first off colored the buff kitten with Copics then started creating my background. I die cut the panel using the MFT stitched dome stax into a piece of Bristol smooth and also die cut the outside border. I then ink blended the dome insert masking off the top and bottom, using distress inks. I spritzed the background with a bit of water and shimmer spray and set it aside to dry.

While the background was drying, I cut a narrow piece of rainbow striped designer paper for the edging to give it a pop of color to complete the card. I adhered it onto a #110lbs white card base and foam taped the kitten, mouse and sentiment for some dimension.

Happy Purrthday | My Favorite Things

What a cheerful birthday card, with a rainbow background. I love creating designs like this with distress oxide inks and stencils, no two images are ever a-like

I colored my silver kitten with Copic markers and gave him his favorite dish of seafood entree' for dinner. I propped him up with foam tape on a black stamped sentiment with white embossing powder and added a second piece of patterned pattern to stand out.
Some glossy accents were put onto the kitties bowl and the heart for some shine and once dried the panel is adhered onto a #110lbs white card base.

I'm Grumpy When You're Not Here | My Favorite Things

Don't our kitties all have these days, when there owners have to go to work but we'd rather just stay home and cuddle them. A clean and simple card, with this multi colored kitty sitting in the window. I colored the kitty image with Copics and die cut the window out of patterned designer paper. I also die cut the window several times out of heavier white card stock and layered it for dimension. Before adhering it all onto the card base I stenciled a cloud scene where the kitty would be gazing out the window.

Once everything was set and dry, I pop dotted the kitty so he was raised on the ledge with his toy fish and gave him a birdy friend saying waving hello. I added a sentiment stamped on black card stock and embossed with white embossing powder, it stands out nice and bold. The entire panel is adheard onto a #110lbs white card base.

I Need Some Coffe right Meow! | Newton's Nook Designs

Happy Cat-urday, I hope everyone has had a good week, I think todays card is appropriate for the weekend. Today's card is an adorable Ragdoll kitty coffee card, the rainbow stacking coffee cups are so neat. They took a bit to get the masking correct, but I only messed up once and had to re-do from the beginning. My choice of medium was Zig clean real brush markers and a aqua brush to blend them out for a water colored effect. After it was dry I masked it off again and spattered it with gold pearl paint and stamped a crisp black sentiment then die cut the entire panel. It then gets attached to a 110lbs white card base.
