You and Coffee | Simon Says Stamp | My Favorite Things

This was a fun card to make with a lots of masking involved, I got my inspiration from Therese Calvird and her card on the Highlighted Stamping technique!

Therese Calvird
I didn't know she had a video and I based my card from inspiration of the repetition of her cats and thought coffee cups would look neat. I started with the foreground and worked myself up. I messed up once and had to start over on this card but that is how you learn. Every cup is stamp three times to get just the right amount of ink coverage. Our cute little cat is from My Favorite Things - I Knead You set, I left a fair amount of room for him to roll around amongst the cups. It took a bit to fit him in there just perfectly.

I coloured the cat with Copic markers and stamped a sentiment in Versamark ink and heat set it with White embossing powder on black card stock. The panel is then mounted onto 1/8" foam and adhered onto a #100 side fold Fog card base.

Mother's Day Kitty Wreath Card | IsabelCristina Stamps | WPlus9

Here is my attempt at the Gink K. Wreath Builder, I got my idea for the background panel from one of Jennifer McGuire's videos called Wreath Builder Stamping and thought I would give it a try. I don't have many tiny flower stamp sets but I made this one work for me and since I was just having fun playing making a wreath I now know what I would do differently next time.

The kitty image is by IsabelCristina Stamps her illustrations are so adorable. I printed the kitty image on Neenah paper and colored it in with Copics and popped it up with foam tape. I adhered the background panel to Simon Says Stamp Lavender Card Stock and cut a strip for the sentiment.

I added a bit of gold sparkle paper detail, on the strip of lavender. And stamped the sentiment with Versamark and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Assembled the rest of the card together adding foam tape where it needed to be raised.

You're the Best Mom | Simon Says Stamp

This is the last card for now that I created from the Simon Say's Stamp April card kit 2018, I'm sure there will be more made.

I stamped the butterflies and leaves on Bristol smooth paper and colored them in with Zig real clean brush markers. Cut the Lawn Fawn Really Rainbow paper with a border edge die, for the background. Then stamped the sentiment directly onto the #110lbs white card stock base with Versamark Onyx Black Ink and heat set it.

The butterflies were then adhered with pop dots and colored half bubble acrylic drew drops were added. Glitter Nuvo gloss sparkle was add to the butterflies wings for some added twinkle.

Stained Glass Mother's Day Card | Simon Says Stamp

Happy Friday, it's finally here! Here is one of my favorite cards out of the all the cards that I made from the Simon Says Stamp April 2018 Card Kit.

With this card I used both the stencil and the stamps to create the background panel then I die cut it out with the MFT Wonky Stitched Stax. I stamped the butterflies on Bristol smooth paper and colored them in with Zig Real Clean Brush Markers and added Nuvo Gloss glitter sparkle to there wings and adhered them with foam tape. I cut a second panel using the Wonky stitched die and stamped the sentiment with Versavine Onxy Black Ink and used a border edge die just under the sentiment. I attached a piece of fun foam behind the panel to raise it and adhered it to the background panel. The entire panel is then mounted onto a piece of #110 white card stock card base and clear sparkling sequin mix are added for some detail.

You're the best Mom

Here is another Mother's Day card I have made from the SSS April card kit Beautiful Day!
The background is Lawn Fawn's really rainbow designer paper die cut with MFT Blueprints 13 to create the border and Pretty Pink Posh's Borders 2 to die cut the edging.

I stamped the butterflies on Bristol smooth with Versamark Onxy black ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. Then colored them with Zig Clear Real Brush markers, the vibrant pigments of these markers are amazing. I stamped the sentiment directly onto the side folding white card base and adhered it to the rainbow panel. I attached the leaves and then foam mounted the butterflies for dimension and added Nuvo blizzard dew drops onto the leaves and glitter gloss sparkles onto the butterflies for some sparkles. There is your card for today :)
