Dog Gone Awesome | Every Elle

Happy Saturday and thanks for stopping by, todays card is a cute little puppy from the Every Elle Furry Friends Set. I was asked to create this card for a dog groomer, for always making their little fur baby look so handsome.

I first stamped the dog image and die cut it out with my die cutting machine. I then ink blended the background with four shades of distress oxide inks and spritzed it with water and splattered it with gold mica paint then set it aside to dry. I then die cut two panels out of white cardstock and stamped the sentiment with crisp black ink and clear heat embossed it. The panels were then foam taped to the background.

The panel is then mounted onto a side folding white card base. And our adorable puppy is pop dotted onto the card, glossy accents and sparkling nuvo gloss is added for details. That completes are card for today.

Have a safe and great long weekend, Happy Canada Day!

Vet Thank You Card | WPlus9

Today I'm sharing a card that I was asked to create for a Veterinarian. I wanted to make the scene fun and cutesy.

I started by stamping my images and colouring them in with Copic markers. I then made the background panel by scoring the paper with half inch score lines to make the look of paneling. I used aqua blue cardstock for the counter, I added a strip of paper with foam tape to the very top to create an edge. Some of the stamped images are glued flat and some are pop dotted for added dimension.

The sentiment is stamped and white heat embossed on black cardstock. The panel is adhered to yellow cross hatched gingham paper and mounted onto a side folding card base. White gel pen is used to make high lights and glossy accents are added for details. And that completes our card for today!

Happy Birthday | Little Cat Agenda | Mama Elephant

To begin my card today, I started off by stamping my cat images. Once they were all stamped out I coloured them in with Copic markers and cut them all out with my cutting machine. I also cut the Die-namics Blueprints 27 frame from some white cardstock. The word "birthday" was stamped and die cut and the sentiment was white heat embossed on black cardstock and set aside.

I moved onto create the background, with distress oxide ink mermaid lagoon and the square inserts from the frame. I ink blended from the centre outward and left the edges white. I adhered the frame onto the card base and started assembling the card. All the elements were pop dotted onto the card and the phrase was liquid glued onto the frame.

That finishes my card for today thanks for stopping by,

Happy Friday, it is officially summer the weather is hot, the bugs are biting and today is the last day of school! Today's card is a pet rescue or adopting into the family card.

I started off by stamping the image and colouring it with Copic markers. Next I die cut a panel using the Sunny Studio Fancy Frames Circles Die and setting that aside. I then took a white side folding card base and the MFT Mini Clouds Stencil and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Ink and stenciled clouds for a background.

The sentiment is stamped with crisp black ink, and the stamped image is then pop dotted and sequins are added for some bling. White gel pen, glitter gloss pen, and glossy accents are added for little bits of detail. And that completes are card for today!

Have a Claw-Some Day| Sleeping Cat in Claw Machine | Lawn Fawn

I had so much fun making this card, I actually got the idea from all the cat video's that I sit and watch on YouTube. During one of them, kids were playing on the claw machine and here a kitten was sleeping inside of it. If it wouldn't have lifted it's head from being disturbed you would not have known it was sleep amongst the stuffed animals.

I stamped all the images out and colouring them in with Copic markers. I masked off the cat so he would be sitting inside the claw machine with the teddy bears, I then die cut them with there coordinating dies.

To create the background panel, I took a piece of Audrey blue and smoke card stock and using the claw machine die to create an inset for the wall and floor die cut it in the middle of the panel.

The background panel is then mounted on a side folding card base and the coloured images are then adhered onto a die cut piece of fun foam. That is then glued on the card as well and some of the teddy bears are then pop dotted for dimension. That finishes of today's card!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY (Meow!, Meow!, Meow!) | Lawn Fawn

Today I am showcasing my final cat card for Father's Day and today is Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all the Cat Dad's out there!!!

I stamped all my images with Copic friendly ink, then colored and die cut them with the matching dies. I next worked on the background, I stenciled the panel on Bristol smooth paper with brick red distress oxide ink and softened it with antique linen DOI and die cut it out with the MFT wonky stitched dies.

Next the sentiment is white heat embossed on black card stock and adhered to the panel. I pop dotted some of the stamped images but not all of them to give them some dimension and mounted the panel onto a side folding white card base.

I hope you all have a great day and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Cat Father's Day Action Wobbler | Lawn Fawn

Meet Luna, this card was created just for her Daddy!! A fun interactive action wobbler card.

This is Luna
I first stamped out the images and coloured them with Copic markers and glued a scrap piece of acetate for the mouse and set it aside while I worked on the background. I then ink blended the background with distress oxide inks and spritzed it with water and die cut the border. Next I took a piece of sky colored card stock and debossed the wind swirls into it and adhered the clouds and started assembling the panel.

I white heat embossed the sentiment onto black card stock and mounted it onto black and white stamped paper. Our kitty Luna is then attached with a action wobbler onto the centre of the card and the panel is mounted onto a side folding white card base.

Hoping your Father's Day is Purrfect | Sunny Studio Stamps

I love the cheerfulness of this card, rainbows and bright coloring are one of my favorite to create. I was so excited when Sunny Stamp Studio came out with there assorted papers I had to grab some.

I begin by stamping and coloring my images with Copic markers and cut them out with my cutting machine. I then ink blended a piece of Bristol smooth paper, using the second largest die from the MFT Die-namics Stitched Dome Stax die. I also die cut a second dome from a what will be my front panel on another piece of card stock. I then attached a the plastic shaker, filled with sequins, beads and confetti mix and set it aside to dry while I continued to assemble the rest of the card.

I stamped a sentiment with crisp black ink and fish tank blue. Layered a strip of rainbow dot dsp for the background for the kittens and adhered the balloons. To finish of the card I mounted it onto a #110 side folding card base.

Spotlight Cat Father's Day Card | Digi Stamp Boutique

We are just a few days away from Father's Day, and I return with a beautiful spotlight ink blended background. I used minimal supplies and it gave a wonderful end result to this card.

My cat is a digital stamp from Digi Stamp Boutique, Cute kitty set 2. I heat embossed the spot light with white embossing powder and ink blended it with distress oxide inks and then die cut out the circle die. I then took some embossing paste and coloured it with the same color Peacock distress oxide ink and using the Simon Says Stamp falling stars stencil and a pallet knife ran the paste over top of the stencil and set the panel aside to dry.

The sentiment was heat embossed on some black card stock. The spotlight was raised up with dimensional dots and the panel was mounted onto a white #110 side folding card base.

Coffee is Always a good idea | Newton's Nook Design

I wanted to play along with this weeks sketch challenge at Newton's Nook Design's as I always love sketch challenges. So I sat down this afternoon with only seven hours left to spare to get this card created, so for me this card ended up being clean and simple. So not my style but I do like the end result, though I feel it needs more as to me it seems too plain.

I hope you all had a good week and an even better weekend to come, thanks for stopping by and good luck to everyone who has submitted into the Inky paws Challenge.

You left a paw print on my heart | Lawn Fawn

It is never easy making sympathy cards for a loss of a pet, they are a immediate member of the family. I made this card for our close friends of family 14 year old puppy faced pooch who crossed over the rainbow bridge.

I started off by die cutting my rainbow with seven shades of Bazzill card stock. I then ink blended the background on Bristol paper with broken china Distress Oxide Ink. I took the rainbow diecut, and diecut the rainbow into the background panel and inserted my rainbow. I die cut the clouds and sponged the edges with broken china ink as well to give them some color and foam taped the front cloud for dimension.

The dog and tennis ball were stamped and coloured with Copic markers. The sentiment was stamped in crisp black ink and red hearts were die cut and glossy accents was added for dimension. A fog gray frame was diecut and attached with foam tape and the panel was attached to a top folding #110 white card base.
