I didn't have a teacher stamp so I cut the letters out on the silhouette and glued them down. Everything is pop dotted in layers, this is a clean and simple card. I love how it turned out.

Hydrangea Thank You

A simple card this week with a lot going on. I used this weeks Mojo Monday sketch and a new
Hostess Set from the Stampin Up 2015-2016 catalog.

I based the card with retired card stock certainly celery and coastal cabana. Then matted it with DSP Winter Frost.  Inked the bottom of the card with coastal cabana ink, using the ornament stamp from the Festival of Trees.
Colored the hydrangea with SU inks with my aqua painters pen. Punched a butterfly with crisp cantaloupe from the Beautiful Wings Embosslits and added it to the edge of the sentiment. A touch of Silver with Wink of Stella to the flower to make it glisten.

Borrowed and Baja Wedding Card

My first wedding card of the year, this is for my best friend and her husband. Knowing it's coming from me, it had to be perfect. I think I stamped the roses 20 times till I found the perfect color combination.

I played along with the My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge. The base is sahara sand and matches the new SU something borrowed designer paper perfectly. The curved mat is baja breeze, embossed with the SU elegant lines embossing folder. I outlined the roses with a Sakura glitter pen and it just makes the roses twinkle so pretty. Added a few teeny tiny pearls on the daisies and in the center of the embossed circles. The outside edge of the card has been sponged with crumb cake.

Seashell Birthday Card

I wanted to take part in a sketch this week and I liked the look of the My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge so I took a swing at it. I had also received my order from the retired list from Stampin Up and got to play with my new set By the Seashore.

Anyone that knows me knows that I love seashells, so I had to dive right in and play with this one.

I stamped the shells onto shimmer paper and clear embossed them, this really gave them an added twinkle. I had some {older} dies from Provocraft in my drawers of seashells and seahorses. I don't even know there original name to reference them by.
I wanted a fishnet look on the flag but all I had was the hexagon hive die so I embossed it onto the card stock. I pop dotted the flag and the crab, for added dimension and also outline the edge of the flag in black to give it a shadow.

Of course this card would not have been complete if I would not have put on a Crabby :)

Deer in the Birch Trees

Happy 2015! Cheers to an adventurous year ahead...

This was my 2014 Christmas card that I sent out to my closest friends. I only made 3 of them so your pretty lucky if you received one. I wanted to keep this card clean and simple with a Norwegian character with the turquoise, white and that tiny bit of red that pops out.

I embossed the white background with a woodgrain embossing folder. The Father and Mother deer have been pop dotted, and the stickles only in the center gave it a snowglobe effect.
