You're the Best Mom | Simon Says Stamp

This is the last card for now that I created from the Simon Say's Stamp April card kit 2018, I'm sure there will be more made.

I stamped the butterflies and leaves on Bristol smooth paper and colored them in with Zig real clean brush markers. Cut the Lawn Fawn Really Rainbow paper with a border edge die, for the background. Then stamped the sentiment directly onto the #110lbs white card stock base with Versamark Onyx Black Ink and heat set it.

The butterflies were then adhered with pop dots and colored half bubble acrylic drew drops were added. Glitter Nuvo gloss sparkle was add to the butterflies wings for some added twinkle.

Stained Glass Mother's Day Card | Simon Says Stamp

Happy Friday, it's finally here! Here is one of my favorite cards out of the all the cards that I made from the Simon Says Stamp April 2018 Card Kit.

With this card I used both the stencil and the stamps to create the background panel then I die cut it out with the MFT Wonky Stitched Stax. I stamped the butterflies on Bristol smooth paper and colored them in with Zig Real Clean Brush Markers and added Nuvo Gloss glitter sparkle to there wings and adhered them with foam tape. I cut a second panel using the Wonky stitched die and stamped the sentiment with Versavine Onxy Black Ink and used a border edge die just under the sentiment. I attached a piece of fun foam behind the panel to raise it and adhered it to the background panel. The entire panel is then mounted onto a piece of #110 white card stock card base and clear sparkling sequin mix are added for some detail.

You're the best Mom

Here is another Mother's Day card I have made from the SSS April card kit Beautiful Day!
The background is Lawn Fawn's really rainbow designer paper die cut with MFT Blueprints 13 to create the border and Pretty Pink Posh's Borders 2 to die cut the edging.

I stamped the butterflies on Bristol smooth with Versamark Onxy black ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. Then colored them with Zig Clear Real Brush markers, the vibrant pigments of these markers are amazing. I stamped the sentiment directly onto the side folding white card base and adhered it to the rainbow panel. I attached the leaves and then foam mounted the butterflies for dimension and added Nuvo blizzard dew drops onto the leaves and glitter gloss sparkles onto the butterflies for some sparkles. There is your card for today :)

Hava a Beautiful Day | Simon Says Stamp

I was anxiously awaiting this kit and I finally received it Friday the 13th as I wanted to get going on Mother's Day cards and that is exactly what I did, this is only one of the many cards I'll be sharing shortly in the future.

I started off with the background by using the SSS stencil butterflies and an assortment of Distress Oxide Inks. Then die cut the panel with the MFT wonky stitched rectangle stax border, I also cut a piece of white card stock using the same MFT die and die cut the edge with PPP scallop borders die.
Stamped the sentiment in onyx black versafine ink, for a crisp black image and stamped and colored the butterfly and leaves with Zig real color brush markers. I added some nuvo raspberry jewel drops and glitter to the butterflies wings.

Bunnies, Up in the Air

I sat and made this card back in February but can't believe I'm only getting it blogged now, I'm sorry blog you are being soOoOo unloved! Though I don't make as many cards as I used to do to health problems I still Pinterest, demo, and buy some of the latest products. When I'm feeling up to it I just give 'er...

I used two different stamp sets here SU Ears to you and SU Up in the Air and masked off the daisy's from the Up in the Air set and only stamped the butterflies. I love the added effect it gave to the sitting bunnies.

I kept this card very simple and use the little scraps that were left over from the base, which is a new color for this year Smokey Slate and my first time using it in a card. The butterflies needed something so I added some clear glitter to there wings and it helped them stand out

Butterfly Birthday

Butterfly centerpieces for a 90th birthday! Can you make it anymore cheerful than using the colors of the rainbow.

I used seven colors and cut out a smaller butterfly with the same monochromatic color for the top layer. Each smaller butterfly was run through the Cuttlebug and embossed with a different design. I used eleven different embossing folders to be exact.

I cut out a black happy birthday script from the silhouette site (Design #35716) and glued one on either side.
