Happy Purrthday | My Favorite Things

What a cheerful birthday card, with a rainbow background. I love creating designs like this with distress oxide inks and stencils, no two images are ever a-like

I colored my silver kitten with Copic markers and gave him his favorite dish of seafood entree' for dinner. I propped him up with foam tape on a black stamped sentiment with white embossing powder and added a second piece of patterned pattern to stand out.
Some glossy accents were put onto the kitties bowl and the heart for some shine and once dried the panel is adhered onto a #110lbs white card base.

Thanks for stopping by,

Friends like You | Newton's Nook Designs

I've been playing with a few different stamping techniques, this one is called Fill-In Stamping Jennifer McGuire shared it on here blog about a week ago. This was such a cute, vibrant image and I wanted to keep it the focal point for this card and I thought this technique was perfect.

Hoppy Easter! | Lawn Fawn | Sunny Studio Stamps

I'm here today with another cute Easter card, of bunnies watering the garden and the house cat just sauntering through, it's so sweet.

I ink blended the front panel with distress oxide ink broken china and faded it towards the top. Spritzed it with water to give it a distressed look and set it aside to dry. I then created the garden scene on the bottom with kraft card stock and partially die cut the circles for the carrots and flowers to grow out of from the top. I then inserted a die cut piece of green grass to break up the sky from the ground in the background.

The bunnies are pop dotted for added dimension and the sentiment is stamped in crisp black ink. The panel is adhered to a #110lbs white card base.
