Flower Pot Pocket Card

Here is my second Mother's Day card created for this year, it is a Flower Pot Pocket Card. You can make one too at Splitcoaststampers where there is a step-by-step tutorial on how to make it.

This card is pretty simple to make, I did lots of layers on the flowers with different colored designer papers and also on the flower pot for added dimension. Buttons were added to the center of the flowers for that little touch and ribbon used to keep the flower pot closed to hold the pocket card.

So it must be the weekend? As this is starting to become my habit of when I finish the cards I've been working on all week and finally able to blog them. This was a really interesting batch of colors for this weeks color challenge at The Color Throwdown.

This card has a lot of color but has a vintage look to it, still modern though different. The sketch I used is Monday's Mojo Monday #188.
