Are you ready for a Easter Party, these kids sure are! This interactive shaker card is filled with sequins and caviar beads. The egg silhouette has been colored with distress oxide ink and a acetate window is glued onto the back to keep all the shaker elements inside. I then added a thin border of foam tape around the edge to contain all the beads and sequins.
I debated leaving the inside of the egg white or keeping the patterned paper in the background of the egg. After laying it out several times it looked much better keeping it in. The patterned paper was die cut with a stitched border and adhered to a #110 white card base. The shaker element was then attached with a strong adhesive glue to the panel.
The children were colored with Copics and the smaller images from the Easter Party set were used to fill in. White gel pen is used for highlights and glitter sparkle was added to the pedals, glossy accents was added to the ducks nose, feet, and jelly beans.
