Hello Sweet Girl | Lawn Fawn

Hello everyone! Happy Friday today I am showcasing some Lawn Fawn products. I was asked to make a baby shower card and this is what I created.

I used two stamp sets Hello Baby and Cheery Christmas. I needed more baby animals to fill my scene so I paired the two stamps. First I stamped the images with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink, and coloured them with Copic markers. I then used the coordination dies to cut them out and set them aside.

I die cut my background from Bristol paper using MFT Die-namics Blueprints 27 and ink blended the frames with distress oxide inks. I stamped the sentiment directly onto the panel and highlighted the wording with white gel pen. The critters are then adhered onto the frames with dimensional dots and the panel is attached to a top folding #100lb Fog card base. Have a wonderful weekend!

You and Coffee | Simon Says Stamp | My Favorite Things

This was a fun card to make with a lots of masking involved, I got my inspiration from Therese Calvird and her card on the Highlighted Stamping technique!

Therese Calvird
I didn't know she had a video and I based my card from inspiration of the repetition of her cats and thought coffee cups would look neat. I started with the foreground and worked myself up. I messed up once and had to start over on this card but that is how you learn. Every cup is stamp three times to get just the right amount of ink coverage. Our cute little cat is from My Favorite Things - I Knead You set, I left a fair amount of room for him to roll around amongst the cups. It took a bit to fit him in there just perfectly.

I coloured the cat with Copic markers and stamped a sentiment in Versamark ink and heat set it with White embossing powder on black card stock. The panel is then mounted onto 1/8" foam and adhered onto a #100 side fold Fog card base.

It's Your Day | Lawn Fawn

This was more of a detailed card with it being interactive as the little boy moves from left to right, with getting the die placement just perfect on the Lawn Fawn Road Borders Die. In this card I used lots of coloured card stock to create the background to build my scene.

The little boy on his bicycle and his kitty were all coloured with Copic Markers. Spectrum Glitter Sparkle was added to the flower bouquet and Glossy Accents was added to the bicycle. The sentiment is stamp in Versamark Onxy Black Ink and Lawn Fawn Fish Tank. The panel is then adhered to a #110 White top folding card base.

Mother's Day Bike Ride | Lawn Fawn

I got to play with a few really great Lawn Fawn dies for this Mother's Day Card. I love how they coordinate together, and everything just flows nicely when you have all the tools to work with. I used a lot of card stock for this card as I had recently saved since December and had many items on a wish list building up it was time for a haul.

I stamped out my images first on Neenah 80Lbs card stock using Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink and colored them with Copics. I then started to create my background, I die cut the sky from Simon Says Stamp Audrey Blue and the grass from Simon Says Stamp Green Leaf card stock, then I cut the fence from White card stock. I inlayed the path into the grass and die cut it out with Slate card stock and the inside markings with Sunshine card stock.

The sentiment is stamped with Versamark Onyx Black ink, the panel is then attached to a White #110Lbs card base and Spectrum Noir Sparkle is added to the balloons, flowers and the little girls dress. Glossy Accents are added to the balloons for an added detail. The stamped images were raised with foam top for dimension.

Mother's Day Kitty Wreath Card | IsabelCristina Stamps | WPlus9

Here is my attempt at the Gink K. Wreath Builder, I got my idea for the background panel from one of Jennifer McGuire's videos called Wreath Builder Stamping and thought I would give it a try. I don't have many tiny flower stamp sets but I made this one work for me and since I was just having fun playing making a wreath I now know what I would do differently next time.

The kitty image is by IsabelCristina Stamps her illustrations are so adorable. I printed the kitty image on Neenah paper and colored it in with Copics and popped it up with foam tape. I adhered the background panel to Simon Says Stamp Lavender Card Stock and cut a strip for the sentiment.

I added a bit of gold sparkle paper detail, on the strip of lavender. And stamped the sentiment with Versamark and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Assembled the rest of the card together adding foam tape where it needed to be raised.

Wishing you a beautiful Mother's Day | Lawn Fawn

A beautiful ink blended card using the Lawn Fawn Hillside Backdrop Portrait Stitched Die on Bristol paper. I created the shadowed layers using Distress Oxide Inks by masking them off with some post-it tape in between the layers. I distressed the panel with some sprinkles of water and set the panel a side to dry while I went and stamped the images.

The images are stamped with Copic friendly ink, Simon Says Intense Black Ink and cut out. I then cut out a few extra die cut images to fill in the scene, a sunshine and a couple of clouds. I then used foam tape on the edge of the frame and started assembling the panel onto a #110lbs white card base. This gives the card just a bit of added detail and dimension when your looking at it.

I stamped the sentiment with crisp black ink and inlayed the center portion of the frame,  sky and sun. I started adhering the stamped images with glue and stamped a few hearts just above the kittens head. Spectrum Noir glitter sparkle was added to the little girls dress and the bunches of flowers. That finishes are card for today...

Kitty Mother's Day Card | Papertrey Ink | IsabelCristina Stamps

Happy National Scrapbook Day

I love the simple elegance of this Mother's Day card, from the red roses to the shimmering gold.
The moment I saw this Digital Stamp Set of kitties, from IsabelCristina her illustrated drawings are just my type of cutesy that I always love to color and create with. Her digital stamp set Meow I of course I had to have and use in my designs, I had ideas right away for Mother's Day.

I started of with die cutting my background panel from white card stock with the MFT Wonky Stitched Border die, then stamped the roses using the Sweet Life set in the colors PTI Sorbet and Scarlet Jewel and die cut them with coordinating dies. I then stamped the leaves directly onto the white panel with PTI Spring Moss and New Leaf.

I cut a fishtail strip from a piece of black and white stripped paper and also a piece of gold glitter paper and glued those directly onto the panel. I stamped the sentiment from SSS Mothers Day Zingers Set using Versamark Onxy Black Ink.

The stamped images were then popped up with foam tape and clear sequin mix were added for some detail. The panel was then attached to a side folding card base off SSS Fog Card Stock and that completes our card for today.
