Have an Egg-stra Special Day! | Newton's Nook Designs

Happy Friday, where did this week go? I have been so busy in my design room yet I feel I have got nothing done. Though the first day of Spring came and went I know I was not the only person in that slump!

I jumped on in a took part in a color challenge this week, as I have not done one in ages. This color challenge is by

The colors chosen to use were yellow, light green, light blue and white. I colored Kitty Easter Bunny Newton first with Copics. Then using embossing paste and some pretty iridescent glitter I stenciled on the cloudy sky background and set that aside to dry for a few hours. I stamped on the black sentiment and die-cut out the background panel. I pop dotted Newton for raised dimension and added some grass to ground him and a touch of blue on the side, a little white gel pen for highlights, sparkle to the eggs, and glossy accents for detail.

Thanks for stopping by,
