Elephants {Thanks A Lot}

For this weeks card I thought I would use the Sketch Challenge from Mojo Monday week 71 and the Color Challenge from Splitcoaststampers; CC203. Once again my two favorite colors, blue and green! I do not have Stampin Up cardstock and chooose to use Bazzill cardstock as I love the colors and texture that this paper has. But finding the color conversion is not always the easiest as when purchasing open stock paper they do not always have the upc sticker on the backside. I have researched a bit and think I may have to invest in a swatch booklet. Also I have found a 100lb. paper good enough for me to stamp and color on but it still doesn't meet my standards as the paper is not bright white and has a bit of an off white color.

I have made this thank you card for a girlfriend of mine whom surprisingly left me a basket of chocolates for being a great friend and always including her in social functions.

I like how these elephants stamped out, but I think I colored them a bit dark but they still turned out nice. I had a really hard time with the colors on this one as I wanted to use supplies that I had on hand but I think my girlfriend will like it just because.
