I got my idea for this card from tlfrank's version at Splitcoast Stampers. I then created my own svg cut file from a vector image and come up with my version of Angry Bird. Angry Birds is the latest rage of games on your iPod or iPhone. I too play this game as well but not addicted to it like some people are.Lots of layers in this card and I found it difficult to adhere the rubber band as many adhesives do not adhere well to this type of surface. I love the out come of this card!

CARD RECIPE
PAPER: SU; Pacific Point, Whisper White, Orchid. Bazzill; Baby Blue, Caramel, Green, Red, Black, Orange, White.
EMBELLISHMENTS: Rubber Band.
TOOLS: Cricut, Cuttlebug.
SUPPLIES: Spellbinders, Svg Files.
Hehe...that card is too cute! I just attended a kids birthday party that had an Angry birds theme! The mom created Angry Bird cupcakes and gift bags! It was pretty cute! I wish I had taken some pics! I love the details on your card, especially the rubber band! Very nice work!

ReplyDeleteAnd Thank You so much for all of your comments on this card. To answer to question on what glue I used to glue down the rubber band, I used Scotch Quick-Dry Adhesive.
I'm sure there still is another glue out there that is better but I haven't come across it yet. I am happy with this adhesive I use but I'm not 100% pleased with the final out come.~Krysta
